Jasper Philipsen won Stage 17 of the 2026 Tour de France in a sprint finish. It was his initial win at this year's race. The stage culminated in a duel between Philipsen and Mads Pedersen. Philipsen called the effort exhausting. The UCI upheld late-night doping tests carried out after the stage in response to concerns raised after the finish. Lidl-Trek outpaced UAE Team Emirates in the team classification. Jordan Jegat stayed less prominent in the general standings. EF Pro Cycling gave a statement on the final result.
