Tim Sweeney, CEO of Epic Games, has criticized Valve's approach to AI content disclosures, labeling them a political move. He also drew attention to a old forum post discussing studio closures, which is facing community criticism. Sweeney's remarks were echoed by other sources, comparing Steam's AI disclosures to mandatory political essays and suggesting they resemble forcing developers to list their voting history.
