Ticketmaster's president has acknowledged "stuck transfers" following a ticket delivery failure last Friday, raising new concerns over the company's reliability. A separate report used the incident to highlight the risk that comes with relying on one dominant ticketing provider.
The trouble comes as a reseller listing a Bruno Mars ticket said she was taken by surprise by the fees Ticketmaster stacked above her listed price. Rival SeatGeek, meanwhile, unveiled TourIQ, a predictive pricing tool aimed at live event sellers, presenting itself as a competitor at a time when faith in Ticketmaster is slipping.
