Disney has delayed Star Wars: Starfighter and turned it into a television series. Shawn Levy will direct the project, which is set to follow The Mandalorian's soft links with the Star Wars universe. Jonathan Tropper wrote the script and believes that fans will welcome the series when it debuts. Disney has also paused all new Star Wars streaming shows for 12 months, making room for this single project.
