London police came across a young marmoset inside a laundry bag on a bus last week. Staff noticed the vulnerable animal on July 18. The animal was scared and had any food or water while trembling. It survived the difficult ordeal. Animal advocates labeled it an criminal abandonment case. Meanwhile, researchers found a rare monkey species in Congo’s Lomami National Park. The discovery came during a regular survey in the Congo Basin.
