Ed Husic, the Australian Industry Minister, criticised Labour’s inner culture after his plan to permit a discussion on recognising Gaza was rejected.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said described his outburst at a conference as incompetent.
Husic responded by saying he was unbothered by criticism, stating reporters: "put me in a cold chamber, I don't give a sh*t."
The dispute followed previous efforts to push the party to officially acknowledge events in Gaza as genocide.
Internal papers and internal files were later filed that revealed deep divisions within Labour’s ranks over policy and leadership.
